6. Disclosure of Your Information
=================================

We do not sell your personal information. We share personal information only as described in this Section.

1. Payment service providers. We share the information required to process a payment, to authorise a transaction and to carry out fraud screening. Our payment service providers process card data in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes on our systems.

4. Email, analytics and advertising providers. Where you have subscribed to our communications, or where you have consented to analytics or advertising cookies, we share the information required for those services to operate.
5. Professional advisers. We may share information with our accountants, auditors, insurers and legal advisers where necessary for the conduct of our business.

7. Business transfers. If our business, or part of it, is sold, merged or reorganised, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Where such a transfer occurs, we will require the recipient to handle your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Where we engage a service provider that processes personal information on our behalf, we enter into a written data processing agreement that requires the provider to act only on our instructions, to implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures, and to protect the information in accordance with applicable data protection law.

7. Payment Card Data
====================

1. Payments made on the Site are processed by third-party payment service providers. Card details are transmitted directly to the payment provider, or are tokenised, and are not stored on our servers.
2. The information we retain in relation to a card payment is limited to the payment method used, the transaction identifier, the transaction amount and date, the authorisation outcome, and the last four digits of the card number where the provider returns them.
3. Our payment service providers are contractually required to maintain compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

8. International Transfers of Personal Information
==================================================

We operate internationally. Your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than the country in which you reside, including China, the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other countries in which our service providers operate.

10. Your Rights Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR
==============================================

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or the UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, you have the following rights.

1. Right of access. You may request confirmation of whether we process personal information about you, and a copy of that information together with details of the processing.
2. Right to rectification. You may request the correction of inaccurate personal information, and the completion of incomplete personal information.
3. Right to erasure. You may request the deletion of your personal information where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, where you have withdrawn consent and no other legal basis applies, where you have objected and we have no overriding legitimate grounds, or where the processing is unlawful. The right to erasure does not apply where we are required by law to retain the information, including accounting, tax and trade control records.
4. Right to restriction of processing. You may request that we restrict processing while a question about the accuracy of the information, the lawfulness of the processing, or your objection is being resolved.
5. Right to data portability. You may request a copy of the personal information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and you may request that we transmit it to another controller where technically feasible.
6. Right to object. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and you have an absolute right to object to processing for direct marketing purposes.
7. Right not to be subject to automated decision-making. We do not make decisions producing legal effects concerning you, or similarly significantly affecting you, based solely on automated processing. Automated fraud screening carried out by our payment providers is subject to human review on request.
8. Right to withdraw consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 20. We will respond within one (1) month of receiving your request. That period may be extended by two (2) further months where the request is complex or where we have received multiple requests, in which case we will inform you of the extension and the reasons for it. There is no charge for exercising your rights, except where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.

11. Your Rights Under California Law
====================================

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to you, the following additional provisions apply.

1. Categories of personal information collected. In the preceding twelve (12) months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2: identifiers and contact data, commercial information relating to orders, internet and network activity data, and inferences drawn for fraud prevention purposes. We have not collected sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.
2. Purposes of collection. The business purposes for which each category is collected are set out in Section 5.
3. Categories of recipients. The categories of third parties to which personal information is disclosed are set out in Section 6.
4. Your rights. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and retain; the right to request the deletion of personal information; the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.
5. No sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. Where the use of advertising cookies constitutes “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, you may opt out by adjusting your cookie preferences or by transmitting a recognised opt-out preference signal such as the Global Privacy Control signal.
6. Response time. We will confirm receipt of a verifiable request within ten (10) business days and respond to the request within forty-five (45) calendar days. Where an extension is necessary, we will notify you within that period.

12. Other Jurisdictions
=======================

Where the law of your country of residence grants you rights in respect of your personal information, including the right of access, correction, deletion, or objection to processing, we will honour those rights. This includes, without limitation, the rights available under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act of Canada, the Privacy Act of Australia and the Australian Privacy Principles, the Personal Data Protection Act of Singapore, and the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan. To exercise any such right, contact us using the details in Section 20.

13. How We Protect Your Information
===================================

1. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss and destruction.
2. Those measures include encryption of data in transit using industry standard transport layer security, encryption of stored credentials using one-way hashing, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for administrative access, network firewalls, regular software and security updates, logging and monitoring of administrative activity, and periodic review of the access rights held by our staff and service providers.
3. Access to personal information is restricted to those members of our staff and those service providers who need it to perform their functions.
4. No method of transmission or storage of data is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we maintain procedures to detect, investigate and respond to security incidents, and to notify the relevant supervisory authority and any affected individuals, where required by applicable law and without undue delay.

14. Children’s Privacy
======================

The Site is intended for use by businesses and by adult consumers. It is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of sixteen (16), or under such higher age as applicable law requires for the provision of online services. Where we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances in which consent from a parent or guardian is required and has not been obtained, we will delete that information. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 20.

15. Marketing Communications
============================

1. We send marketing communications only where you have subscribed, or where applicable law permits us to send business-to-business marketing communications without prior consent.
2. Every marketing communication we send contains a clear and functional unsubscribe link. You may also withdraw your marketing consent by contacting us using the details in Section 20.
3. We will act on an unsubscribe request within ten (10) business days, and in any event within any shorter period required by applicable law.
4. Transactional and operational communications, including order confirmations, shipment notifications, invoice communications, security notifications and communications relating to a return or a warranty claim, are not marketing communications and are sent as part of the service you have requested. They are not affected by an unsubscribe request.

16. Third-Party Websites
========================

The Site may contain links to websites, platforms and services operated by third parties, including social media platforms and payment providers. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any third-party website. We encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit.

17. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
===========================================

We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you or that similarly significantly affect you. Fraud and payment risk scoring is carried out by our payment service providers, and where a transaction is declined as a result of such scoring, you may contact us to request a human review.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
==================================

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, in the services we use, or in applicable law. Where we make a material change, we will notify you by email where we hold a valid email address for you, or by a prominent notice on the Site. The version of this Privacy Policy in force at the time we collect your personal information governs that collection, and the current version is always published on the Site and shows the date of its last update.
